Well, as you can see, I finally got my modem back! Yesssss!!! Everything's not finished yet but will be soon, I promise!
A couple weeks ago our school was infested with bats. They were cute bats, but they had to exterminate them. They caught, like, 40 bats this year. We were sitting at lunch one day, eating, and all of a sudden we hear this screaming! My friend Tami goes, "Oh my God, it's a bat!" We looked, and sure enough, this cute little bat comes swooping down through the hallway! It just kept swooping up and down the hallway over and over. This one administrator came in and told us we needed to go into the gym or outside. As I stood up to leave, the bat came swooping down again and I looked just in time to duck! It was so cute, I didn't want them to kill the bats, but it wasn't really my decision. I thought it was cool that we had bats at all. We have the school colors for it, though -- orange and black. :)
Last weekend, our dance team went to a nationals competition at Universal Studios. Our dance was soooo awesome, it's all dark and seductive and stuff. We won 1st in our category (Class A Jazz) and highest scores in both all Jazz and all Class A. And we got Best Choreography. Our three soloists got 9th, 6th, and 2nd places too! After the competition we got to play at the park! The only rides we went on were Kongfrontation (King Kong) and E.T. (We're only an hour away from Orlando anyway, so we had already been on all of it, so it wasn't like we got disappointed.) We had our faces painted, which was really, really cool. It wasn't that cheap kind like at fairs where they slap it on with greasepaint. It was high-quality airbrushing, and it was awesome. I had this purple, blue, and green swirly thing on one cheek (it went up my entire face) and a purple unicorn on the other. We all got little white stars too, the lady just stuck them on wherever. And all the painted stuff was blotted with glitter, so it was sparkly too! It rocked. Then we went to this thing called "Lucy: A Tribute." In case you guys haven't noticed, I worship Lucy. I am madly in love with Lucy. They had the actual costumes and props and scripts from the show!!!!!!!!!!!! I was all set to get my stuff and move in. Then, like everything else at theme parks, they had to have a gift shop. If I had had $5000 I swear I would have spent it in there. You think I'm kidding. I got $40 worth of stuff as it was, but I wanted so much more!!!! I got two postcards, and 11x14 picture, a glass, a patch, and this magnet dress-up set. All Lucy. And in another store we (me and my friends Carolyn, Jessica, and Bekki) got one of those sticker things. You may have heard of them. It's like one of those machines that takes your picture, except it makes 16 stickers out of the picture. It cost $5, so we split it to get 4 each. We had our faces painted, and the background was Chilly Willy, and Carolyn and Bekki had these flower lei headbands on, so it looked like a CD cover for some band. It's awesome!
After all that we got to go to Mardi Gras at night. There were these four mad cool dancer guys. They did a show of breakdancing and tricks. They were soooooooooo cool! Then there was this big dance party with a DJ and everyone dancing, and them throwing beads for us. All in all I got 12 bead necklaces, which may not seem like a lot, but when you're trying to jump over all these tall people to get to them, it's pretty good. It was a lot of fun... the whole weekend was awesome.
Well, I'll probably have my grades by the time you read this.

You guys probably all think I'm too lazy to update my page. The truth is, I was grounded from my computer for, like, a month. At this particular date (shown above), I don't have my modem, and won't for a while, but I figured I'd redo everything and then by the time I get my modem it'll be all good.

I'm completely renovating my web page. Text links at the bottom of each page replace the frames. Lots of links are being added. Completely new sections are being added (fashion, eighties club, celeste's celebrities center, side show, beliefs, body art).
I went through all the trouble of moving addresses, which includes COMPLETELY reuploading every single file on this page, to escape my family's eyes. And what happens? My dad and brother followed that stupid "This Site Has Moved" link and been complete idiots. I can't believe I did all that work and they go and be stupid, after I even TOLD them not to. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad!!! Now I have to figure out a way to hide from them even more. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
I sound so stupid in my journal entries. Why? Well, I keep saying "write me" and "e-mail me" and no one ever does. How hard is it to write me and tell me ideas for my page? How hard is it to write one sentence, like "the link to so-and-so.com doesn't work" or something? Yeesh. I'm not asking for epic poems or anything (although if you have any, you can send them). Come on, guys! There has to be something you can talk to me about. It doesn't have to be about my page, I love pen pals. Lately the only people who have written to me are between the ages 10-12. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but hello?!? What happened to all the 15- and 16-year-olds out there? Write me! Doesn't anyone else like getting e-mail? Or snail-mail, for that matter? Just write!
OK, that's enough pleading for one day. Check ya later...

On December 31, we're headed for NYC!!! Yesss! See, my dad promised me he'd take us to New York sometimes this year. That was in, like, February. He JUST BARELY made his promise. By a mere 13 hours, actually. Close for him! Anyway, we'll be in Times Square on New Year's, then I am going to spend the rest of the time shopping. Hello, it's New York. Where else can you find such rad vintage and alternative clothing? If anyone knows of any really cool NY stores, please e-mail me BEFORE December 31. Thanks so much!
OK, what else is there to say...not much, my friends are coming over tomorrow for a little gift-exchange thing. Then I have to finish my science fair project. I HATE science fairs!!! With a passion!!! Grrrr... But hey, it's a MAJOR grade and I'm basically failing the class so I NEEEEEEED to get an A on this project. OK, well, I should probably go update the other parts of my site. Buh-bye!

It's been more than a month since I wrote in here. I really need to keep up.
Well, our school pep rallies were both great. We (the dance team) performed wonderfully, if I do say so myself. In fact, our entire Homecoming Week was cool. Our dress-up days this year were (in order): Caribbean Day, Nerd Day, Decades Day, Twin Day, and Spirit Day. The carnival kinda sucked though. We won our game!!! Yes!!! For three years, we NEVER won a game. This year, we got a new coach, and we're winning all over! Go SCHS. The Homecoming Dance was rad too. Everyone looked so cool, and you know, guys ALWAYS look finer in suits, especially tuxes. Bonus! Bonus! :o)
You guys should all go see my new clothing company. Right now I'm only making T-Shirts, but it's still neato. Check it out.
Last night I went to the Octoberfest, which is a carnival/fair thingy that everyone goes to. I got to see all these people that went to my middle school who I haven't seen for more than a year. It was cool. I hope to go again tonight. The only really sad part was a lot of them were walking around smoking. In fact, almost everyone there was walking around smoking. I saw this little boy who was like, 9 or 10 smoking. It was really sad. I saw some other little kids in Manson and KoRn shirts, looking all punky and stuff. Whatever happened to CHILDHOOD? Oh, but I digress...
Well, that's all I have to say for now...Ciao!

It's the middle of the night!!! I just looked back on my past entries...there really aren't that many of them. I should probably write in here more often.
As you've probably noticed, I've redecorated my site considerably. Instead of word links, there are picture links on the cover (which I've been meaning to do for quite some time). Also, soon I'll be adding LOTS more links. When I say soon I can't promise any certain time, as I've already run out of room on my Geocities page and have almost filled up my Tripod page. I really really need my own domain, but I'd like a 50 meg one, and the cheapest I've seen is $50, plus you have to pay like $100 just to register your name! If anyone knows of a cheaper way to do this, PLEASE, I'm BEGGING you, write me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am desperate here! I'm getting claustrophobic with only 2 megs of space!!!!!!!!
I just realized I never mentioned my dance camp...well, it was great, and I won 3 blue ribbons in the evaluations. Go me! My whole team did great!!!
School started last Monday (August 25). My teachers are good, I think (it's hard to tell yet). I think this year will be harder academically, but it also looks like more fun.
I never really did any back-to-school shopping. Hopefully my mom will take me to some vintage stores soon, because I really want to go...they have the raddest stuff there. But this whole week I'll be busy. First of all, I have 2 hour dance practices every day this week because our pep rally's Friday. And on Tuesday and Wednesday are auditions for one of our school plays, Bad Seed. We do 4 plays a year, plus a one-act festival, which is three student-directed plays in the same night.
Well, enough for now, I should probably sleep or something. Check ya later!

So...why hasn't ANYONE sent me any ideas for my book (see Entry #9)????? Come on guys, I need your help. OK, I'm adding more and more pics of myself. I'm so vain. I think I'll lose a few of the old ones while I add my new ones, unless you guys think otherwise. Thanks to anyone who's written to compliment me on my page!!! I have too much to do. Monday I start school and I haven't even really gotten to shop much. My brother's off to college in a week, so everyone's busy with that, plus Mom's the new president of the IB Boosters Club (International Baccalaureate Program, which I'm in), and Dad's working. I wanted to go to the flea market to see if there was anything worthwhile there. I haven't been in like 2 years but it rocked last time I went. My mom doesn't like it but I'll make her take me soon...
You guys must have some ideas for my page. Anything is welcome, as long as it isn't negative! : o ) You can send me pictures you've taken, drawn, painted, etc. and I'll put them up. I'll be adding lots more links soon, but as I said I'm very busy. I'll really try though!!! Anyone can e-mail me about anything, I'm always happy to read mail and write back! I love pen pals, and e-mailing is the easiest way to go. Also, you got a cool page? Send me the URL and I'll check it out. If it's cool by me (which isn't that hard) I'll link to it. Also, if you have a page you can link to me with the following banner:
Link it to http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/5604/
Soon there will be an award you can win, as soon as I figure out how to define my form. If you can help me with this, please write.
Well, that's about it for now, any questions or comments will be appreciated but flames will be returned. ; - )

Hey guyz...if you haven't read my new essay, please do (What's the Point?). Also, check into links for some new dark side stuff.
Super news, guyz. OK, I know I've been a little too ambitious about things I'm going to do (e.g. 80's Club, Top Ten Lists, etc.) but now I have the perfect idea. I am going to write a book, a handbook for kids. If you have any tips, crafts, ideas, or anything, please E-mail it to me. IF it gets published, I'll put your names in the front, so please tell me your full name. I can't promise it will get published, but you can help make it great enough to be considered. Thanks for your help! Keep surfing through!

Hey people. It's been a long time since I last wrote in here, and I'm sorry, but we're almost done with school and there's a lot to catch up on for finals, so I've been very busy. OK, I forgot to tell you about the No Doubt concert. It rocked (literally). There were mucho fine skater/punk guyz to look at, plus the music ruled. It was just awesome. Such a rush. I can't wait until I'm older and can go alone w/ friends (I went with my mom and friend Ashleigh)...then I can really bust it out. I still wouldn't go in the mosh pit though, it's too dangerous. Well, maybe just the back of it would be OK. I dunno.
I'm really sorry about the delay on my 80's club, but I found out that I need a separate e-mail address for each GeoCities web page I want, so I have to get my dad to let me use his for a while. I might just get my own AOL account, because I'm getting so much mail (I average about 20 a day, and last time I checked my mail I had 125 messages waiting!).
A few other announcements...I'm joining a few web rings, and I'll be sticking them up on my page in a couple of hours. By the time you read this I might have them up already. I'm going to add an extra page of stuff later, I'm not sure what yet but it will be cool. Probably pics of teen/twentysomething stars. E-mail me and tell me what YOU want on my page!!! E-mail me with anything you want...your perfect guy/girl, your views on anything, your fave colors, your room decoration ideas, ANYTHING! If you send it, I'll put it up, as long as it's clean...nothing obscene. Otherwise, this page is open to your ideas and opinions. Go on! Mail me!

Ohhhhhh yeahhhhhh!!! This past week I've been trying out for the school dance team, and I made it!!! We learned all the dances Monday-Thursday, then performed them for the four judges on Friday. We lost 4 people over the week to frustration, which made my chances better. On Friday, my dance teacher (Eleanor) gave us each a number (mine was 2) and we went into the dance room in groups of three. Everyone else stayed outside. We got in and did the first jazz number, which was really cool. Then they wrote on their papers and said, "Thank you, ladies." Then we went outside. Since I was in the first group, when we got out everyone was asking how it was and stuff. Once everyone had done that one, we went back in and did the tap number. That was easy. Then everyone else did it, and then we went back in and did the second jazz number. Once everyone had done that, we went in in groups of seven and did right and left splits (neither of which I can do) and 16 high kicks. Then we all sat outside the room while they discussed each and every one of us individually. That took about 30 minutes, so we talked about guys and school and stuff. They called us back in and we sat on the floor. Eleanor handed us each a slip of paper folded like 50 times, then told us if it said yes we were on it (duh). Then she said we could open them. I heard screaming behind me and looked back. It was my friends Jessica and Carolyn, hugging and jumping up and down. So they made it. I opened mine and it said yes!!! I was so excited!!! We're called Papillon, which is the French word for butterfly. I don't know where they got that, since our school mascot is a hawk, but whatever. I'm so psyched!!! I can't wait until practices begin!!! And competitions!!! And dance camp!!! OK, I have to go, but in a couple days I'll tell you all about the No Doubt concert, which was on the same night!!! My first concert!!!

Entry #6 Well, I've been working on the new 80's club...I haven't yet finished anything yet, but it's coming soon--I promise!!! I also just got done scanning a few photos. Some of them didn't scan right but by the time you read this they'll probably be on. I now have a separate page called The Ian Archives, with all the letters AND a picture!!! This past weekend, I went to a bunch of garage sales. I got some really cool sheets (for my bed). They're white with all different colored polka dots, and the red ones say "Coke" on them. They are so trippy! I also got a My Little Pony and one of those bendy California Raisins. Oh, and DuckTales for the NES and a Nick at Nite cup. Also, we bought a TV/VCR combo that I'm begging to have in my room. Would you believe we got a color TV/VCR for only...twenty bucks?!?!? Well, we did, and it works fine and everything! I'm telling you, garage sales are the mack! They rule! OK, I've gotta go clean my room (fun fun). Don't forget 2 write!

I've decided to keep my old journal entries at the bottom so if you join in late you won't miss a single detail of my amazing life!!! Well, I've been VERY busy lately with my dance practices--we're having a show on the 11th--and school, and my new 80's club, and everything. Plus, from 3/22 to 3/29, I was in Utah skiing and snowboarding. Snowboarding RULES!!! Of course all the hot snowboarders and skater guys didn't hurt too much!!! Hmmm, not much has happened lately that you would be interested in, so I guess that's it. If any of you want to E-MAIL ME, I'd like it very MUCH. (Maybe you can tell I am in need of some mail.) Anyway, have a nice day and keep LINKING to my page and TELLING ALL YOUR FRIENDS about it!!!

I want an agent SO bad. I need some commercials, some TV, some film experience.
I'm remodeling my page, so if you're patient you'll see some new changes. I'm adding some more links, more pictures, more everything.
I've decided to start an 80's club. It will feature its own web page, which will serve as the newsletter, the home base and the vault. It should rock.
This boy Ian Price is in love with me. Unfortunately, he's also a loser and a freak. Apparently, he's also a stalker. Wanna read some of his love letters to me? I swear these are real!!! I didn't change any spelling mistakes or anything. They're in the order that I received them. I got them from a girl that we both know, and she's the "confidant" he talks about.

I stare into your eyes, and every itme I do, I bare witness to the most irresistible force on the planet. Each time I close my eyes, I see your face, and whenever I open my eyes, there you are, a radiant angel gracing the Earth, making the seraphim and the cherubim jealous of the men upon the lowly ground.
Please, I beseech you, continue this correspondence (via my confidant). I do so desire to you, so to enrich my wretched life. You lay as a beacon to me in the heavens, as I wallow in the sycamore trees.
Forever and Always,
Your Secret Admirer.

Dear Celeste,Your beauty never ceases to stun me. It is all I can do not to gawk at you. It is very hard not to do so. Whenever I see you my heart prepares to leap from my chest, I become light-headed, and my knees shake. I would walk a hundred miles just to see you and hear your voice. You are enchanting in all perspectives.
I am eager to know your responses. I implore you to tell me, either by letter through my trusted friend or face to face (if you have discovered my identity). I wish to know you, and for you to know me. Whatever your responses, good or bad, tell me. Please tell this hopeless romantic whether you will give him a chance or not.
Forver and Always,
Your Secret Admirer
*************************************************************************************
Dear Celeste,Your beauty taunts me, beckons me, and so I melt whenever you are in the same vicinity I am in. You have such lush hair, and dazzling eyes, and your face looks like innocense in its purest form. My pulse races to simply think of you.
Forever and Always,
Your Secret Admirer
P.S. If you care to read the following riddle, it may help confirming my identity.
My fingers sing of the classics,
I manipulate numbers in the blink of an eye.
I am the stage and everything upon it,
I ask you, who am I?
*************************************************************************************
Dear Celeste,If ever an angel should fall upon the Earth, it would most definitely be in your likeness. Your skin has a pale beauty and perfect clarity. Your form is sculpted as that of Aphrodite herself, if not in any way improved. You as though you are no way sullied by original sin. In one way you resemble the myth of Psyche. She was too gorgeous to be admired as a woman, so she was worshipped as a goddess. So are you.
Forever and Always,
Your Secret Admirer
P.S. To narrow me down a little, I am a male I.B. Freshman.

Isn't this all quite scary? It's nice and all, but kinda freaky. Why does he see me when he closes his eyes? It's very unsettling. He's such a dork, SO not my type. Also, his little riddle wasn't true--he can't play piano that well, he sucks at math, and he can't act even though he's in drama. It's sad that he's the only guy in the world that likes me. Really scary. He KNOWS where I LIVE. He KNOWS where my LOCKER is. It's all so freaky. He's always staring at me. [shiver] Ugh!
Wanna see him?
